Want to participate? Just bring your garbage art sculpture to Vulturetown Alley, located on Main Street, from Rajeans down to Willimantic Records, between 5:00 and 6:00 pm - just before the start of the Third Thursday Street Festival.
Before Vulturetown Arts takes down the "A Tiling By Squares - Art On Small Places" exhibition, we're throwing a closing party and adding even more panels of sticky note art. Of course everyone is encouraged to continue to slap their sticky note creations to the walls while here to view their neighbors post-it note masterpieces.

Vulturetown Arts presents The Can Kickers, The Alternates Duo, and Becky Kessler from Violent Mae at 750 Main in Willimantic.
Admission is just $5. Doors open at 7pm.
Costumes are encouraged with prizes for the best Halloween get-ups.
This is an all-ages event. Cafemantic will have a bar set up for those 21 and over.

The Willimantic Food Coop's annual Downtown Country Fair is always a fun time. This year promises to be the best yet, as the Coop has joined forces with the Willimantic Farmers Market (Connecticut's longest-running farmers' market) and moved the fair to Jillson Square - which is located at the corner of Jackson St. & Main St. in Willimantic.

10am - Between the Borders (students studying at Waldrons Studio 88)
Emma Smith sings a few songs with piano accompaniment from Waldrons Studio 88
11am - Weather Permitting (that's their band name - from HARTT School of Music)
Bob Bloom of Drumming About You leads a hands on workshop for fair goers
12pm - Echo Uganda (East African folk songs and dance)
Will Hare and Friends play traditional Irish tunes (off stage location)
1pm - Collins and Bradley (guitar duo Jack Collins and Ed Bradley performs their versions of your favorite songs)
Will Hare and Friends will play some more traditional Irish tunes (off stage location)
2pm - My Gay Banjo (progressive folk duo perform beautiful originals)
3pm - DJ Sir Round Sound (David Freeburg, dance party to end the day, spinning funky soulful 45s from his amazing record collection)
Every square inch of wall space at Willimantic Records must be covered in sticky note art and YOU are invited to participate!
Drop off or mail submissions to the record store, or submit them in the drop box at the Willimantic Food Co-op.

The walkway connecting 744 Main Street to Riverside Drive will be turned into a bulky waste sculpture garden. Artists from Willimantic and the surrounding areas will exhibit their magical trash creations, works of art constructed from objects once dumped curbside as garbage.

This is a free event presented by Vulturetown Arts.
Last minute bulky waste sculpture entrants are encouraged. Just drop off your creation between 5:30pm and 6pm at the Vulturetown Arts bus in front of Rajean's Antiques at 744 Main Street and fill out registration form at Willimantic Records. Artists must agree to remove their contributions at the end of the exhibition that evening (8:30pm). Participation is FREE and there will be PRIZES!
