Visit the BULKY WASTE SCULPTURE GARDEN during the Third Thursday Street Festival on June 16th

6pm to 8:30pm, during the Third Thursday Street Festival.

The walkway connecting 744 Main Street to Riverside Drive will be turned into a bulky waste sculpture garden. Artists from Willimantic and the surrounding areas will exhibit their magical trash creations, works of art constructed from objects once dumped curbside as garbage.

With live music outside Willimantic Records featuring Birth of Flower and George Hakkila; and talks
on assemblage by local sculptor David Corsini, and Recycling by Tom DeVivo of Willimantic Waste Co.

This is a free event presented by Vulturetown Arts.

Last minute bulky waste sculpture entrants are encouraged. Just drop off your creation between 5:30pm and 6pm at the Vulturetown Arts bus in front of Rajean's Antiques at 744 Main Street and fill out registration form at Willimantic Records. Artists must agree to remove their contributions at the end of the exhibition that evening (8:30pm). Participation is FREE and there will be PRIZES!
